The sweetness of the world is non-existent (the 585 train stop)
Walking between the noisy corridors of the train was a boy, Jimmy seemed to be his name, in his overalls and a white shirt underneath, neatly combed and shiny shoes, but lost between the train stations. The boy walked in a confused way since he did not know who to approach, on one of those routes he passed by a man with an amputated arm and only torn and dirty pants, lying in the middle of one of the corridors of the stations while asking for some money. Jimmy felt bad because he wanted to help him, but his mother had told him never to approach strangers, so the boy, paying attention, saw some policemen nearby and asked them to help that man, they smiled and said yes, so Jimmy confidently continued his lost way, not knowing that the help that man received was some beatings and a kick out of the place, despite the fact that the man did not even have the strength to stand up due to his poor health, hunger and cold.
Following the path, Jimmy heard the screams of a child nearby, however, he did not see him anywhere, until in the distance he could see him on the railway and with his body tied, where a train would pass, scared and worried about what was going to happen like the other passers-by, Jimmy remained motionless wondering why the child was there; He had heard several cases of bad men who did such evil, but he always had the innocent faith that just as there were bad people, there were also good people. That thought vanished when the body of that poor child, exploded without further ado and splashing everyone who was nearby, including the train that crushed the child. Jimmy didn't know whether to cry, scream or run away, he only saw two people hide, and they were the only ones who looked exaggeratedly rushed at that moment, the others just ran away, and among all those people, there was a tall man, with a green shirt jacket and bright white overalls, he was wearing a beret and a cassette. That man approached Jimmy in a friendly way and handed him the cassette, and just like that, without explaining anything, he disappeared. Jimmy, without knowing what a cassette was or what it was for, put it in one of the pockets of his overalls covered in blood and walked slowly, not knowing what to think or not wanting to observe the situation around him.
Jimmy walked further and further, the police and medical examiners were at the scene of the accident. Jimmy arrived at the exit of the station, but his vision turned to black clouds and his balance was poor, however, he was sure that he had met again that man who handed him the cassette, who was waiting and watching. From afar, Jimmy asked him his name, he answered that his name was Beware and once again he disappeared without giving Jimmy a smile and a sweet, his two favorite things that gave him back his faith and happiness before vanishing.
Jimmy passed out and some policemen helped him. They thought the blood on his jumpsuit was injuries, so they went through it and found the cassette. When the police played this curious cassette, they found the conversation of two men that they later identified, who were talking about the location where they would be after having caused the death of that child on the railways. Along with this, they managed to identify Jimmy and communicate with the mother. These two were able to meet again safe and sound, without first asking Jimmy's mother where he had been and what had happened to him, Jimmy only replied that he had made a new friend, that he will always remember those reddish eyes like the blood of his overalls, tired face and bright smile, from Beware, the friendly stranger.
And so ends this short story, in which sometimes dreams or traumas are distorted with reality. Or where there is simply that friendly stranger called Beware.
